THERE will be plenty of familiar territory covered by Carus Thompson on his latest trek across Australia.
The West Australian singer-songwriter is back on home soil after a successful tour through Europe and will return to many of his old haunts while on tour, including Hamilton's Northern Star Hotel on Saturday night.
Thompson has been noticeably absent from the live circuit since May and has instead been making a name for himself overseas on a 35-date tour of Europe.
Thompson is no stranger to Europe, having toured five times already and securing himself a healthy following.
Despite being a regular visitor to Europe, it was the first time he had toured with his band The True Believers. Before he began the tour in Brisbane earlier this month he warmed up for Pete Murray at his album launches on the east coast. Thompson is going through a massive few months on the road, having also been invited to join The John Butler Trio on their upcoming Australian tour which will appear at the Newcastle Civic Theatre on December 20 and 21.
Thompson and the True Believers will be supported by Rob Sawyer on Saturday night.
Tickets cost $10.
They will be available on the door.
