ONLY weeks after finishing a sell-out run with Shihad on the Homeland Security Tour, Bondi's Cog are at it again.

Touring to promote the release of their new single Run, Cog will brings its hard-hitting style of rock to the Bar On the Hill at Newcastle University tomorrow night.

With a formidable reputation for hypnotic tribal grooves and heavy-rock rhythms, Cog has spent much of the year promoting their debut album The New Normal. It led to an successful album tour earlier this year and an invitation to perform at the upcoming Homebake festival.

Run delivers a strong political message which is reflected in the single's video, a thought-provoking tale featuring an Iraqi refugee running across the South Australian desert from Baxter Detention Centre.

Supporting Cog tomorrow night will be emerging Sydney rock bands Grand Fatal and The Fumes. Tickets cost $15 for students or $20 for guests and are available on campus from the UniShop or at the door on the night.

Doors open at 8pm.
