Rock Outfit Promises Huge Farewell

LONG-STANDING rock outfit Quaan will play its final show this weekend at The Brewery.

It promises to be a huge farewell for the four-piece, which has been a mainstay on Newcastle's live music circuit for almost 10 years.

Despite enduring a number of line-up changes in its time, Quaan has remained renowned for its extensive repertoire of popular covers and original material.

It will be the last chance the band's supporters have to see them in the flesh when they deliver a final show at The Brewery on Saturday night.

The word is that members of the group will go on to perform in a duo under the name of Q. Quaan will take the stage from 11pm upstairs in the Waterfront Bar.
