THE HEALING ART is gearing up for a big show at the NORTHERN STAR HOTEL on Saturday night. ntsI Jan 22 With frontman and guitarist CHAD ROGERS , drummer KAI CHAMBERS and bass player MICK CARROLL , the Newcastle rock trio is attracting attention, no doubt because the boys have been busy of late.
In the two years they have been working together, the band has supported plenty of big- name Australian and international touring acts.
The Healing Art took to the stage alongside US band VERUCA SALT at NEWCASTLE PANTHERS earlier this month.
The boys also performed alongside top- selling Australian vocalist VANESSA AMOROSI at the ROCK FOR AMNESTY concert held at CIVIC THEATRE in November.
Plus there have been if gigs with ESKIMO JOE , EVERMORE , THE SUPERJESUS , MAGIC DIRT , THE CASANOVAS and BETCHADUPA .
With the recent release of their debut EP Soothe , The Healing Art's title single has been on spot rotation on Sydney's FBI RADIO and the track It's Not a Silly Lovesong has been heard on TRIPLE J. The EP was recorded if by REIGN RECORDS under the auspices of experienced Australian producers DAVE HENDERSON and ROB TAYLOR. The band is planning an Australian east coast tour during the early part of this year.
