PACESETTER is ready to show the country what it is made of.
Riding on the success of rotational airplay on major radio stations and playing support gigs for acts such as SPIDERBAIT , SUNK LOTO and THE DAYBRIDGES in recent months, Pacesetter feels it is at the top of its game.
Pacesetter and Brisbane locals EMERSON will visit Newcastle as part of an east coast tour in February. if The tour will coincide with the February 7 release of Pacesetter's 2005 debut EP, Red Letter Morning , produced by BRYCE MOOREHEAD. Pacesetter has its roots in Brisbane's live rock and roll scene.
The band has evolved in its two years together not only as a strong group of friends but as a hardworking collective of like- minded musicians.
Audiences can expect from a if Pacesetter show a set full of hair-swinging, toe-tapping rock along with the showmanship and electric performance of each band member.
Playing alongside acts such as Spiderbait, BUTTERFINGERS , The Daybridges and Sunk Loto, Pacesetter has developed a fan base beyond its expectations.
Drawing on influences such as YOU AM I, SOMETHING FOR KATE, JIMMY EAT WORLD and Leg 3 INCUBUS , the guys feel they have moulded their style into a diverse mix that attracts a wide range of listeners.
With a catalogue of songs that is large enough to record multiple albums, national airplay on TRIPLE J, TRIPLE M and the AUSTEREO NETWORK , as well as high rotation on multiple regional stations, expect to hear more from Pacesetter.
