THIS year marks the 10th anniversary of the movie Priscilla: Queen of the Desert and the celebrations are about to begin with CARLOTTA. Originally made famous by Australia's first male revue LES GIRLS, Carlotta has been in the business for 40 years and has starred in the television show Beauty and the Beast with STAN ZEMANEK and other celebrities.
She is regularly seen on television shows such as Greeks on the Roof and has recently been honoured on This is Your Life and 60 Minutes. CARLOTTA'S PRISCILLA SHOW is a brand new production.
It features a star-studded cast including Carlotta, MONIQUE ST JOHN, who fronted Les Girls for a number of years, and CHRISTIE McNICOLE, who has been the lead cast member of THE PRISCILLA SHOW.
With the ACADEMY AWARD winning movie Priscilla: Queen of the Desert approaching its 10th anniversary, McNicole has produced a show with spectacular tributes to classic movies.
THE PLAYGIRLS take us to Hollywood with cameo appearances by Hollywood legends RITA HAYWORTH, MARILYN MONROE, TINA TURNER and CHER. Swedish superstars ABBA make a special appearance and watch the stage come alive when MO AWARD winner St John takes us to New York's STUDIO 54 and the disco comes alive.
There is never a dull moment as Carlotta entertains during her hilarious interludes.
Carlotta will perform at NEWCASTLE PANTHERS on April 2 at 8pm and CARDIFF PANTHERS on April 17 from 8pm. Tickets are available from the venues.
