A SPECTACULAR stage show at CLUBNOVA PANTHERS NEWCASTLE will prove that age is nothing but a number.
Performers aged between 3 and 40 from local talent group INSYNC PERFORMING ARTS will host a musical extravaganza on November 23.
Titled INSPIRATION, the show will have something for everyone and feature a cappella harmonies, dance and performances accompanied by band WHISH'D. The show will travel along a musical time-line featuring unforgettable songs from the 1930s right through to today.
Performances will include renditions of BOOGIE WOOGIE BUGLE BOY, HAPPY DAYS, THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKING, FOOTLOOSE and LARGER THAN LIFE, as well as a segment dedicated to DISNEY. One of the show's major stars is 8-year-old TJ TANUVASA, a young performer who looks set to become one of Australia's most fresh talents.
Tanuvasa recently auditioned for a role in a national production of THE LION KING and has made it into the final 15.
Joining Tanuvasa on stage will be fellow young talent KHIARA CUMMINGS, a HSC student who was nominated for ENCORE, an upcoming show at SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE. InSync Performing Arts was established in Newcastle in 1999 and has more than 130 talented stars performing in the group.
The group's director, LOUISE WILKINSON, said the show was a culmination of everything the students have learnt and perfected over the year.
'Everyone is welcome to come along to the show and see the stars of the future in action,' Wilkinson said.
The show will start at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from the club for $19.80 for adults and $16.50 for concession.
