A TOUR bus full of the biggest names in Australian punk rock?
That's sure to spell out trouble.
But the boys from Melbourne's For Amusement Only insists that although they have a reputation for going a little crazy on stage, things on tour were rather calm.
During this year's Warped Tour, the four-piece found itself working its way around the country with members of One Dollar Short, Skunk Loto, Blue Line Medic, Bodyjar and Area 7. 'We hired a bus and went from Brisbane all the way down to Melbourne together and then we flew everywhere else together, it was great times,' drummer Chuckles said.
'We were actually pretty well behaved, but I felt pretty sorry for the hotels and aeroplane people involved, but it was good fun.'
For Amusement Only was formed 18 months ago in Adelaide.
Chuckles is the latest recruit for former member Mark.
'They had Mark, who was about 13 or 14, and as the band started getting shows, his mother started to get a bit worried about him,' Chuckles said.
'So his mum pulled him out of the band and that's when I joined.'
For Amusement Only will make its debut performance in Newcastle at the Palais Royale next Wednesday with Seraph's Coal and Creeping Jesus during an all-ages gig, which kicks off at 5pm.
