BEING dubbed as 'the funkiest study session in Newcastle', Fanny's has launched its own special evening for students following the return of university.
Fanny's has re-opened its doors on Wednesday nights and students will reap the full benefits.
The UNIversal Student Night will feature high profile guest DJs each week and offer free entry all night for students and discounts drinks.
The launch of UNIversal was held last week and kicked off with beats provided by UK DJ Paul Lillie. Lillie will return to Fanny's this week in an all-star line up including two of Sydney's hottest dance music DJs.
Kate Monroe and Rob Brizzi will play in a triple bill that is sure to get the keen crowd pumping.
Students should also head up to The Cambridge Hotel on Wednesday nights to check out The Faculty Lounge. The Faculty Lounge will host local live acts and a dance party each week.
The official launch on March 6 will feature Bitchcraft and Armistice. Entry is free from 10pm and students are entitled to discount drinks.
