IT is likely to get a little crowded on the stage but The Porkers can't wait to bring everyone together for what will be the biggest Porkers tour yet.
Comprising a line-up of at least 13 members from the past and the present, The Porkers will embark on a tour covering most of the country.
'We will virtually go right around the country, probably not Perth but through the east coast and Adelaide as far as I know,' frontman Pete Porker said.
The Waiting For Us Tour will see no less than 13 members on stage at one time, which frontman Pete Porker said was certain to be a great night for the band and fans.
'We've got a cavalcade of stars from the past,' he said.
'We've discussed and wondered how many ex-members there were and thought Wouldn't it be real funny if they were all on stage one night?", but thought it was not possible.'
But the idea has become a reality and members from The Pornskars, Bored of Education and Chinchen will get together to reform The Porkers.
The musos have been rehearsing in a 'secret location' to prepare for the tour and upcoming television appearances on Channel V and Pepsi Live. Bringing together all of the members, it seemed appropriate for the band to perform something of a greatest hits package.
'We'll be doing our later stuff and a few of our new ones from each of our releases so of course it will be a greatest hits show,' Pete said.
The Porkers will perform at Newcastle University on March 7.
