WITH two of its members originally from Newcastle, The Ancient Marinators are guaranteed to attract a big crowd every time they perform here.

It has been a fair while since the four-piece last paid Novocastrians a visit and on Friday night the boys will return to play a long-awaited gig.

The Ancient Marinators will perform a free show at the Northern Star Hotel with ever-popular locals Supersonic. Supersonic will launch its new video at the gig.

The Ancient Marinators will make the trip up the highway to support the band's debut album Eno which was released to critical acclaim last year.
