SHE left The Brewery in October to give birth to her son Thomas but now she's back and looking forward to performing a special Valentine's Day show at the venue tomorrow night.
Country star Kate Ballantyne began a fortnightly residency at the popular venue a year ago and has developed a large following.
Usually performing at The Brewery on Friday afternoons, Ballantyne moved her performance forward for Valentine's Day.
'I usually do a fortnightly residency at the Brewery on Friday night but because of Valentine's Day they're having me there on Thursday night,' she said.
The show will be Ballantyne's first in four months and, although she has had years of experience, she is feeling a little nervous.
'I've been performing for 15 years and this is the first time I've ever had a break so I don't know how I'm going to be,' she said.
Her fortnightly residency at The Brewery will continue, but Ballantyne will only perform once a week until her son gets older.
'I'll play once a week for the first six months then I'll get back into it.'
Ballantyne will perform upstairs at The Brewery from 8pm to 11pm, then every second Friday from March 1 from 6pm to 9pm.
