Pals no More, Pacer 21 Out to Hit Perfect Note at SJ's

Who: Pacer 21, Louder
Where: SJ's on Beaumont
Author: Jade Lazerevic
When: Wednesday December 5, 2001

YOU may know them better as My Pal Spadger, but now they go by the name of Pacer 21. The three-piece pop rock outfit from Melbourne will perform at SJ's Hotel tonight.

Pacer 21 have been touring the East Coast during a national tour to support a new EP and its international release.

The EP, titled Picture Postcard, contains two tracks that were included on the Search Sessions 2001 video which has been released in Africa, UK and Brazil.

The EP will be officially released in January, but fans can get their hands on a copy when the band perform at SJ's this month.

Touring has already been a bonus for the band, after they got to share the stage with supergroups like Lash, The Whitlams and Superheist. Fame has had some hardship for the band though.

For the second time in 12 months, the band had all of their music gear stolen including amps and guitars.

But the end of the year should end on a happy note for them, as they plan to release two EPs, continue touring and begin work on an album.

Pacer 21 will be joined by Louder.
