HARDCORE legend CONATION will bring its extreme sounds and pent up fury to the Wickham Park Hotel on Saturday night.
The free concert features THE VIPER ROOM EXPERIMENT, a band that has risen from the ashes of the tremendously visual moniker of the JASON DONOVAN ENEMA EXPLOSION. The Viper Room, which covers classic punk toons from the late 1980s and 1990s, felt a name change was in order after spending many years deliberately offending fans of a particular popular culture icon.
It is believed the latest has connotations of the Hollywood venue frequented by the bright young things of the silver screen, which became notorious as the site of the death of RIVER PHOENIX. Openers for Saturday's 8.30pm kick-off will be WISEHIEMER. The band Conation is pictured performing at a SURFRIDERS FOUNDATION benefit at Newcastle Workers.
