A Melting Pot of Music

AT the recent West Wallsend MUSOFEST, blues-rock band MELTING POT performed in the prime position at the Museum Hotel and have been working flat out ever since.

Performing this Saturday night at the Merewether RSL Club, the group plays danceable covers ranging from blues to rock'n'roll and everything in between.

Some of the blues artists the group covers include BUDDY GUY, ATLANTA RHYTHM SECTION, BONDI CIGARS, JOHN FOGARTY and STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN. On the rock front, the group covers bands such as THE ANGELS, DEEP PRUPLE, THE BEATLES and THE ROLLING STONES. In only a few short months since their debut the group has performed at the Snake Gully Hotel, Edgeworth Tavern, the Museum Hotel, the Wickham Park Hotel and the Commercial Hotel, Branxton.

Melting Pot is drummer RICHARD COOK, guitarist JOHN HUARD, bass player DAVE ROSS and singer PAT MALONE. TE
