STAR of Australian stage, screen and television, JON ENGLISH, will perform a live multimedia retrospective at Phoenix on Friday, February 18.
His show, featuring video inserts, dialogue and slick costumes changes, is performed in conjunction with a live band, in a show which looks back at the performer's astounding career.
English's career began with live music in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and Friday night's show will take audiences through to his current work.
Recently English has been working on a play he co-wrote, called BUSKERS & ANGELS, which has been playing at the Hills Centre, Castle Hill, in western Sydney.
After hits such as HANDBAGS AND GLADRAGS, WORDS ARE NOT ENOUGH, TURN THE PAGE and HOLLYWOOD SEVEN, English went on to appear in television shows such as HOMICIDE and MATLOCK in the 1970s.
He also starred in a television mini-series AGAINST THE WIND for which he wrote and recorded the theme song SIX RIBBONS. English hopes to have Buskers & Angels, a contemporary musical, recorded, staged and filmed as a motion picture. TE
