Talk Of The Town up for big award

SUCCESSFUL long-running Newcastle duo TALK OF THE TOWN has been nominated for a national award alongside stars of television and stage.

Playing this Friday night, February 4, at Newcastle Workers Club, Talk of the Town has been nominated for the inaugural FILIPINO BUSINESS COUNCIL AWARDS in the category of 'best performing musical group'.

The duo was nominated alongside KATHLEEN DE LEON from children's television show HI 5, DEXTER VILLARHERMOSA from the musical MISS SAIGON and cabaret artist LILLIAN DELOS REYES. Talk of the Town will perform at the awards at Sydney's MARCONI CLUB next week, Saturday, February 12, before an audience of 600.

The duo recently began performing a fortnightly residency at Newcastle Workers Club.TE
