Looking at Life Through Black PVC

Who: Cult 45
Where: Ducks Nuts Hotel
When: Sunday May 9, 1999

CULT 45 is a band that sees life through the warped and twisted lenses of a pair of black PVC sunglasses.

Playing on Sunday at the Duck's Nuts Hotel, with SUPERSONIC and MELVIN STARR, the band writes 'short, sharp pop music, about prescription pills, UFO abductions, B-grade movie stars and KGB-owned virtual bars'.

Drawing on the classic sounds of the post-Punk era, CULT 45 have shaped themselves a sound and image entirely their own.

STRESS through CHATTERBOX/PHANTOM is the band's second release. Their first release NOW WE ARE SICK was released on seven inch vinyl.

Once seen (see picture) the band is not easily forgotten, winning legions of followers through supports for FRENZAL RHOMB, FRONT END LOADER and THE PORKERS.
