ACOUSTIC-driven, Latin-flavoured party band FLOYD VINCENT & THE CHILDBRIDES are heading to Europe for the next four months.
But not before a farewell gig at their occasional home away from home this Saturday night at the Northern Star Hotel.
The band has been busy over the past few years building a strong European following. It will be their third tour taking in Italy, Germany, Holland, France, Belgium and the UK.
With a mass of invitations from European festivals, and being the only contemporary music act to score a grant from the AUSTRALIA COUNCIL for the arts, they have a heavy schedule of 65 gigs over three months.
MAMBO artist REG MOMBASSA has been commissioned to create a European tour T-shirt for the occasion, which will be available at Saturday night's show.
When Floyd returns to Australia the band will record the follow up to LAST EXIT MOTEL. The new album will be released in the new year.
