FANS of commercial Oz Rock will be pleased to hear that 1980s rock band NOISEWORKS will re-form for a gig at the Newcastle Workers Club on Thursday, June 10.
NOISEWORKS II featuring vocalist JON STEVENS, guitarist STUART FRAZIER and drummer KEVIN NICOL will perform from albums such as NOISEWORKS, TOUCH and LOVE VERSUS MONEY. The group was huge in the late 1980s with radio staples such as NO LIES, TAKE ME BACK, LOVE SOMEBODY, TOUCH, IN MY YOUTH, MILES AND MILES and HOT CHILLI WOMAN. After Noiseworks broke up Stevens embarked on a solo career, releasing two albums ARE YOU SATISIFIED and CIRCLE through SONY MUSIC. Stevens has enjoyed success with a performing career that included the role of JUDAS in the HARRY M. MILLER production of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. Frazier went on to become a regular player in the JOHN FARNHAM band, as well as touring with KYLIE MINOGUE, DIESEL, JAMES REYNE and TINA ARENA. TE
