TRUCKSTOP Honeymoon is coming back to Newcastle to dish out some of its break- neck breakdowns and heart-break waltzes, this time at The Northern Star Hotel .
The like-minded, New Orleans-based couple ntsI they're married received a great response from Novocastrians when they played at the Lass O'Gowrie Hotel and the Grand Junction Hotel earlier this year.
Truckstop Honeymoon are Katie Euliss and Mike West .
The duo have performed at festivals all over the world including the Folkwoods Festival in Holland, Broadstairs Folk Week in England, the Festival of the Sea in Scotland and Wakarusa in the US.
In Australia, they have graced the Woodford Folk Festival and the Tamworth Country Music Festival .
Their touring shows feature Euliss on washtub bass and vocals and West on guitar, banjo, mandolin and vocals.
They describe their music as ``like a Dodge with a burnt-out clutch: it has two speeds and no reverse''.
