AUDIENCES will see another side to Sarah McLeod this weekend when the self-proclaimed rock chick performs an intimate show at the Northern Star Hotel on Friday.
The former Superjesus frontwoman has spent the past few weeks playing stripped- back versions of songs from her solo album at pubs around Sydney.
The album, Beauty Was A Tiger , was released last year and McLeod spent plenty of time on the road with her band reintroducing herself to fans.
On her latest run of shows, Mcleod has also been throwing in a few Superjesus tracks.
McLeod, who looks up to women such as Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett and P J Harvey, said she was stoked with the way things had panned out since going out on her own.
``I look at things in a different way now,'' McLeod said. ``It's hard to really put my finger on it but I feel totally different. I'm attacking things from a different angle. I feel like I've got different goals. I just feel more focused.'' ``Over the years you really start to get comfortable in your saddle and I think I'm at that point now.``I've never once in my musical career had a vision of what I wanted to do and chased it.'' Tickets can be bought online at bigtix.com.au or will be $12 at the door.
