THE Northern Star Hotel will serve up a smorgasbord of pop-rock this Saturday night.
Local band Cotton Sidewalk will join forces with rising Sydney stars Phonograph .
The two bands recently shared the stage at the Annandale Hotel , playing to a strong crowd.
Phonograph was also included on the bill to play the last Luna Park Festival and have been attracting a big following.
Cotton Sidewalk have been working hard on a soon-to-be released EP.
Drummer Marty Paget said the six-track CD was ``in the can ready for mixing''.
The EP looked likely to be released in early 2006.
Cotton Sidewalk has been kept fairly busy in recent weeks.
Among other things, the band took part in Newcastle Music Week .
Paget said they would be ``pumped'' on Saturday night.
The bands will be on stage around 10pm.
