WITH an EP in the pipeline and Sydney shows on the cards, it looks set to be a big year for blues/rock outfit Dirty Pink Jeans. The Newcastle-based four piece has developed an increasingly strong following with frequent gigs around the city, including a huge show supporting Grinspoon at The Brewery on New Year's Eve.
More recently the band has devoted its time to the recording studio where it has been working on an EP with producer Rob Taylor, whose past credits include The Whitlams and the Screaming Jets. It is anticipated the EP will be released within the next month and be followed by performances in Sydney.
The band will play on Friday at the Cambridge Hotel, with support from Israel Cannon, The Zealroom and Draw the Line , and at An all ages gig will follow on Saturday night The Band Room @ Newcastle Leagues Club.
Tickets to both gigs will be available at the door.
