THOSE laid-back lads from The Beautiful Girls are some of the hardest working musicians in the country.
Once again the band is preparing to hit the road for a mammoth run of dates.
The Beautiful Girls will begin an Australian tour in late July before flying to Japan to appear at the Fuji Rock Festival alongside Coldplay and New Order. With no time to spare, they will head back home to complete the Australian tour.
It will bring the band, which now boasts extraordinary Brazilian harmonica player Felipe as a fully-fledged member, to the Bar on the Hill on Thursday, August 18.
For a group of surfers, The Beautiful Girls haven't spent much time in the water this year, with headline dates in Canada, the US and Japan and a three-month sold-out Australian tour.
Punters can expect to hear new tunes taken from the band's forthcoming album, We're Already Gone , for release on July 4.
Tickets are $15 for students and $20 for guests and are available at Contact.
