HARDCORE music fans are in for a treat again with Orange Country outfit Bleeding Through stopping over in Newcastle this weekend as part of its first Australian tour.
Bleeding Through will perform at the Cambridge Hotel on Friday night.
It has been a non-stop ride for the band since the release of its breakthrough album This Is Love, This Is Murderous. Bleeding Through was hand-picked to support AFI on tour in 2003 and the band quickly catapulted to be named in Spin Magazine's ``artists to watch'' issue.
The following year kicked off with the band's Mutilation Tour which culminated in a triumphant sold-out performance near their Orange County home.
From there Bleeding Through landed a coveted spot on Ozzfest 2004 and a stint performing as part of the third Headbanger's Ball: The Tour along with Cradle of Filth and Arch Enemy. The band recently buckled down to record a follow up album titled The Truth which is due for release in September.
Following their tour of Australia, Bleeding Through will join the US Warped Tour. Bleeding Through will be supported by Parkway Drive and the Ventrical Overflow. Doors open at 8.30pm and tickets are on sale at Sound World or online at www.moshtix.com
