ON the eve of the release of her debut solo album Beauty Was a Tiger, Sarah McLeod will embark on her first headline tour as a solo artist.
McLeod has already been carving it up along the east coast supporting Thirsty Merc on a sell- out run of shows, including a date at the Bar on the Hill.
She will play three headline shows, performing in Sydney, Melbourne and returning to Newcastle at the Cambridge Hotel on Friday, August 19, with her band Stu Hunter (keyboards), Mick Skelton (drums), Patch Brown (guitar) and Grant Fitzpatrick (bass) to play songs from the album which is due for release on September 19.
The Superjesus singer's debut solo single, Let's Get Together, will be followed by the second single Private School Kid , which features a duet with The Living End's Chris Cheney. Tickets cost $15.
