New Album Multi-Styled

RIDING high on the release of its aptly titled third album III , Sydney three-piece NUNCHUKKA SUPERFLY will return to Newcastle this weekend.

The band will perform at the BAND ROOM at NEWCASTLE LEAGUES CLUB on Friday night.

Newcastle outfit CONATION, which will celebrate seven years together on the night, and WISEHEIMER will be on the bill.

Nunchukka Superfly's album has distilled influences as far-flung as krautrock, `60s pop, psychedelia, `70s hard rock, dub and `80s punk.

Triple J has given the radio single Gelatine plenty of airplay and the band has backed it up with frequent tours, including a couple of shows supporting Los Angeles outfit THE BRONX. Tickets will be available at the door on Friday night.
