Highlights Of Hardcore

CANADIAN hardcore band COMEBACK KID has gained more momentum in the heavy music scene during the past two years than most bands do in their whole careers.

With the 2003 release of the debut album, Turn It Around , and tours across America, Europe, Australia, and Japan under its belt, the band has had no rest.

Lately, Comeback Kid has spent much of its time in the recording studio working on tracks for its second album.

It was recorded at THE BLASTING ROOM in Colorado where, members said, things came along ``amazingly''.

Fans can expect the album to be released within the next month.

With a stack of new material to unleash, Comeback Kid recently headed to Europe where it joined fellow hardcore outfit CHAMPION on tour.

The band will appear at the CAMBRIDGE HOTEL on Friday night with MILES AWAY, TAKING SIDES and THE VENTRICLE OVERFLOW. Doors open at 8pm and tickets will be available at the door.
