A NEW duo has burst on to the Hunter music scene.
KRISTY BRADY and PETER GILCHRIST have formed an act that goes by the name KADENCE.
With Brady on vocals and Gilchrist lending his voice and guitar-playing talent, the pair play hits from the 1970s through to contemporary tunes.
Artists covered include ARETHA FRANKLIN, MARIAH CAREY, CROWDED HOUSE, WHITNEY HOUSTON, KELLY CLARKSON, ROBBIE WILLIAMS and DIESEL. .
Both Brady and Gilchrist have plenty of experience behind them. if Brady is only 20 years old but has numerous Star Struck and School Spectacular performances and talent quest wins to her name.
Gilchrist has worked as bassist for groups HEY BABY and FINGERBUN as well as acting as lead guitarist for numerous duos.
AUSTRALIAN IDOL fans may recognise him from television appearances with son Corey who reached last year's top 100.
Catch Kadence this Saturday jan 22 at HOTEL METRO then at HAMILTON STATION HOTEL on January 26 and BROADMEADOW PREMIER HOTEL on January 29.
