KEEN: Guy Sebastian starts his next tour at Newcastle Panthers on February 18.
A YEAR on from the show that launched the bro with the fro, GUY SEBASTIAN has finally been able to enjoy some down time.
But the 2003 Australian Idol winner is already itching to get back on the road.
``I've had a little bit of down time and I'm just really keen to start getting busy again,'' he said.
Sebastian will be back in the swing of things when he starts his next tour with a show at NEWCASTLE PANTHERS on February 18.
``It's cool to get to regional areas,'' he said.
``I'm pretty familiar with Newcastle. I've been there quite a few times. I used to come up there with my band. I did the Idol tour there and I did my tour there.'' Now that Sebastian has had some time outside Idol, he feels he can think more clearly.
``I feel like I'm normal again,'' he said.
``Now there's no more TV stuff, it's just a matter of being a struggling Aussie muso.'' Sebastian has been busy songwriting of late and wants to start work on a third album soon.
in the near future. It will follow his previous two releases Just As I Am and Beautiful Life. He also plans to tour in Asia and New Zealand where his music has been well received. The US is also in his sights and he hopes to break into the gospel scene there.
