GROWING up surrounded by the rock'n'roll revolution, it was always highly likely that SUZI QUATRO would go on to become one of the world's first female rock superstars.
A talented singer and bass guitarist, trained in classical piano and percussion, Quatro joined the band THE PLEASURE SEEKERS in her teens and never looked back.
With her streetwise, leather-clad persona, Quatro burst onto the rock scene in the mid- 70s, achieving international music stardom with a string of hit singles including the number-one hit Stumblin' In. Throughout her remarkable career, Quatro sold more than 45 million records and toured for more than 30 years.
In her trademark black leather jump-suit and armed with her bass, Quatro left a lasting impression on audiences.
She also branched out into acting, most famously portraying Leather Tuscadero on television's popular Happy Days. Quatro has since made guest appearances on UK programs such as Minder and Absolutely Fabulous. Fans will have the chance to see Quatro in the flesh when she brings her BORN TO ROCK TOUR to NEWCASTLE PANTHERS tomorrow night.
Tickets to the show are on sale at the club.
