HIP-HOP band Bluejuice is back in Newcastle after a successful Australian tour.
Jamie Cibej, Jerry Craib, Ned Molesworth and Jake Stone will play at the Newcastle Leagues Club Band Room on Saturday August 13.
What they offer is some of the most infectious grooves you're likely to hear. And you can hear some of them on the band's latest EP, The Good Luck Pig .
The five-track EP was recorded as part of their prize for being named Musicoz artist of the year in 2003.
A lot of time between then and now was taken up with talking to a lot of labels about releasing the EP.
The group has played with acts including 1200 Techniques, The Herd, Good Buddha, Hermitude, Butterfingers, Baggsmen, The Beautiful Girls and Kid Confucius.
They have also supported Dizzee Rascal when he toured Australia in 2004 for Splendour In The Grass.
