Strung Out Signs Up

Who: Strung Out, Useless ID
Where: The Cambridge Hotel
When: Thursday April 7, 2005

After over a decade in existence, Californian punk rockers Strung Out have taken a flagship position at Fat Wreck Chords, the label home to the likes of NOFX, Lagwagon, Anti-Flag and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. With their new album Exile in Oblivion, Strung Out reconfirm why they have stood the test of time, delivering a hard- hitting mix of punk revivalism and melodic hardcore.

And with a new album comes a new tour.

It began in Australia last week and will take the band to Europe before heading back home to the US to play the Warped Tour's main stage.

Since forming in 1992, Strung Out has achieved recognition for its ability to creatively fuse punk, metal and progressive rock.

Strung Out will perform at the Cambridge Hotel tomorrow night.

Supporting the band all the way from Israel is Useless ID, who appears on a compilation of Bette Midler and Barbra Streisand covers entitled Attack of the B-Killers, along with The Disables. Tickets can be bought at the venue, Sound World, Beaumont Street Beat and The Rock Shop.
