When: Saturday September 25, 2004

THE biggest party in Melbourne will hit Newcastle this weekend when the new One Love album is launched at KING STREET HOTEL. ONE LOVE, one of Melbourne's premier club events, has a new two-disc album dedicated to it and released through VICIOUS records.

It was mixed by leading DJs JOHN COURSE and GOODWILL .

Course, who co-owns Vicious, is on tour to support the album's release and will play a set at King Street Hotel on Saturday night.

A leading figure in Australian dance music for the past 17 years, Course first rose to prominence when he won the DMC Mixing Competition in Victoria in 1988 and 1989.

He built a strong following at clubs throughout Melbourne before establishing Vicious with former MADISON AVENUE star and DJ ANDY VAN. Course has supported a top list of DJs over the years such as ROGER SANCHEZ, DERRICK CARTER, JUNIOR JACK and FELIX DA HOUSECAT. Having embraced mixing, scratching and tricks from his early days as a DJ, Course can often be seen using decks, effects and a capella, mixing, cutting and overlaying tracks during his sets.

Production-wise, Course was one-quarter of the production team behind BLACKOUT whose Gotta Have Hope single was a worldwide club hit.

lw0 With Van, Course mixed A Night Out with John Course and Andy Van and has also mixed Ministry of Sound's Annual 2004, which remains the biggest selling dance compilation in Australia.

John Course is free.
