AFTER spending much of the year touring with band THE TEMPERANCE UNION, TIM ROGERS has returned to his roots to join YOU AM I on a brief run of live dates.
Made up of just four shows, THE CROSS COUNTRY VANDALISM TOUR will see You Am I perform at the CAMBRIDGE HOTEL on Saturday night.
You Am I is touring on the strength of its new DVD release, The Cream and the Crock , which boasts more than two hours of videos, live recordings, commentary and documentary footage.
The DVD was nominated for an ARIA award this year but lost to MIDNIGHT OIL. It was the second ARIA Rogers was nominated for this year.
He was also in the running for Best Male Artist for his latest solo outing, Spit Polish. In 1999, Rogers won the award for his What Rhymes With Cars And Girls album.
You Am I will be supported at the Cambridge by BETCHADUPA and THE SUITS this weekend.
The band will wrap up the year with appearances at the FALLS FESTIVALS in Lorne, Victoria and Marion Bay, Tasmania from December 30 to January 1.
