ALMOST a year after taking out the inaugural Australian Idol title, GUY SEBASTIAN has finally announced plans for his first solo tour.
The nine-date national tour will take Sebastian across the country throughout November and December, stopping over at NEWCASTLE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE on Thursday, November 18.
It follows the release of Sebastian's chart-topping single, Out With My Baby , which entered the charts at number one earlier this month.
Sebastian is back in full force as he celebrates the release of the follow-up to his six-time platinum debut album, Just As I Am. His new album, Beautiful Life , which was released on Monday, was recorded in Sydney and Los Angeles and features songs penned by Sebastian and some of the world's top songwriters.
The tour kicks off on November 15 at the GOLD COAST CONVENTION CENTRE and Sebastian will be joined on stage by a nine-piece band, backing singers and dancers.
``I'm confident, or at least trying to make sure, that my first concerts will be everything that my fans want,'' Sebastian said.
``We've put in months of preparation and I love performing live so I'm really looking forward to getting it out there.'' After winning Australian Idol late last year, Sebastian released the number- one single Angels Brought Me and watched it sell 128,000 in just one week.
It became the fastest-selling Australian single in ARIA history and was featured on Sebastian's debut studio album Just As I Am which also topped the charts.
