Benson Done With Retiring

WITH eight Grammy awards under his belt and an international reputation as one of music's greats, GEORGE BENSON could easily retire from the music world a happy man .

But that's a long way off for the 61-year-old Pittsburgh-born entertainer who continues to record new material and tour the globe 40 years after he first set foot on stage.

``I've already done the early retirement thing but every time I do it, someone always jumps on the phone and makes me an offer too good to refuse,'' Benson said.

He is back in the loop this year with his latest album Irreplaceable and is on a world tour to celebrate its release.
