EMERGING Perth roots artist SARITAH has embarked on a four- week east coast tour that will see her appear at festivals and stop over in Newcastle.
She will perform at the PEATS RIDGE FESTIVAL on Saturday before playing on Sunday at Wickham's LASS O'GOWRIE HOTEL .
From Newcastle, she heads north to the WOODFORD FOLK FESTIVAL. Recently Saritah has supported THE JOHN BUTLER TRIO, THE CAT EMPIRE, ASH GRUNWALD and MICK HART. Saritah is touring on the back of her debut album, Gratitude , which was released in May and received airplay on TRIPLE J. The title track was selected to appear alongside MICHAEL FRANTI AND SPEARHEAD, ANI DIFRANCO, JURASSIC 5 and JANE'S ADDICTION on the recently released Peace Not War Vol. II compilation, which was produced this year in London.
Saritah will be joined by KAI KABOOMBA on Sunday at the Lass O'Gowrie.
The show starts at 7pm.
