ARCHITECTURE IN HELSINKI is back on the road to celebrate the release of its new single Do The Whirlwind. The single has been released as a teaser before the new album which is due out early next year.
Do The Whirlwind captures a glimpse of the band's confident new sound.
that Architecture In Helsinki has developed. Produced in frontman CAMERON BIRD'S suburban garage, the track grew from a blend of bongo licks, sitar strings, steel drums and a 34-piece choir.
It was engineered and produced by the band in its SUPER MELODY WORLD STUDIOS and mixed by TONY ESPIE, who has worked with everyone from ROBERT PALMER to THE AVALANCHES. Architecture In Helsinki began its tour in Melbourne last weekend and will perform at The Band Room at NEWCASTLE LEAGUES CLUB on Friday night.
AUDIOPHILE, NEW BUFFALO, POLAND and THE FAUXX will also perform.
Tickets will be available at the door on the night.
You can also catch Audiophile playing at MORROW PARK BOWLING CLUB tomorrow night with Melbourne act MYDISCO and Newcastle's CONATION.
