THE PS8 PALAIS ROYALE YOUTH VENUE will mark the end of the year with a huge show on Friday, December 10.
THE FINAL CURTAIN will feature a diverse line-up of acts on three stages.
Organiser THE PALAIS INDENT EVENTS TEAM recently won The Indent Music NSW Committee of the Year Award for its efforts with a variety of all-ages events in the past year.
The Indent Team has put together a huge line-up of Newcastle's finest original bands including SOLVER, winner of the 1233 ABC MUSIC AWARDS Best Artist category, SLEIGHT OF HAND, IMMUNE, RUBIX CUBA, FYNA and more.
Aussie punk favourites FRENZAL RHOMB will be the headline act.
Known for its hilarious live shows and intense music, Frenzal Rhomb has also been busy hosting the afternoon show on Triple J.
Palais activities officer DALE GARBUTT said The Final Curtain would be massive and cap off a wonderful year.
"The Final Curtain will be massive, and a great way to celebrate the end of the year,'' Garbutt said. The Palais Upstairs Loft will host the hip-hop stage with respected Sydney act BRETHEREN playing tracks from its latest album Beyond Underground .
Bretheren will be supported by NAMELESS, IONIC, PX, LEFT OF CENTA, DJ REDNUT and a host of other acts.
The Final Curtain is an all- ages event, from 5.30pm to 11.30pm, with full security, no drugs or alcohol.
Advance tickets are $12 from the Palais Royale Youth Venue or $15 at the door.
