KISS fans can expect a full reproduction of the band's sound and image when Melbourne based tribute band KISSTROYER perform in Newcastle later this year.
The band has helped to keep Kiss-mania well and truly alive since it formed three years ago.
One of the band's highlights came earlier this year when it was asked to perform at the after party following Kiss's special concert series with the MELBOURNE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA .
Not only did the band get to perform for a legion of hardcore Kiss fans, but it found that many of them returned the following night to see the band deliver its own show at a Melbourne bar.
Novocastrian Kiss fans will have the chance to see Kisstroyer when the band plays CLUBNOVA PANTHERS NEWCASTLE on December 3.
Kisstroyer was formed in 2001 after the legendary band completed three sold out performances in Melbourne.
Fresh from the high of the concerts and eager to get back into live music, Kisstroyer members STEPHEN and ANDREW decided to head to a local rehearsal studio to remember old times.
The first session was productive and although the brothers covered a wide range of material, they found themselves continually drawn back to Kiss.
With Stephen filling the role of PETER CRISS and Andrew as ACE FREHLEY , the pair spent the next two months searching to complete the Kiss line up.
With the inclusion of DANIEL as GENE SIMMONS and MATTHEW as PAUL STANLEY , Kisstroyer was born.
After three months of rehearsals, the band held its first show and attracted over 250 punters.
Kisstroyer performs all of Kiss' biggest hits in a dynamic stage show featuring tunes such as Detroit Rock City, I Was Made For Lovin' You, Rock & Roll All Night and many more.
