POP will be the key ingredient when Crush returns to Newcastle this weekend.
As part of National Youth Week 2003 celebrations, Crush will host a huge under 18s dance party at ClubNova Panthers Newcastle on Saturday night.
Crush has become one of the biggest under 18s events in Australia, touring across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Newcastle.
It features a list of some of Australia's top DJs including Nick Skitz and DJ Danny B, who will both play at this weekend's event.
Skitz and Danny B will pump out a variety of dance, high energy, top 40, r'n'b and hip hop tunes.
As well as DJs, Crush also features live performances from some of Australia's up-and-coming pop stars.
This weekend, students from the prestigious Brent Street School of Performing Arts will take the stage.
Christian Patterson, Rebecca Tapia and Dion Billios will sing the hits of Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Usher and Michael Jackson in a fully choreographed show.
Crush will also feature a performance from Australia's newest pop sensation Mercury 4.
The four piece male outfit originates from Adelaide but has been creating a name for itself on the national scene.
After a stint performing around the country with Crush, Mercury 4 will unleash its debut single Get Me Some in June.
The show will also feature a spectacular lighting show and plenty of CD giveaways from artists such as Delta Goodrem, The Androids and Scooter.
Crush will be held at ClubNova Panthers Newcastle on Saturday from 6pm to 10pm.
Tickets are available for $15 pre sale from the club or on the door for $20.
The event is fully supervised and is drug, alcohol and smoke free.
