HIS bags are packed and he's ready to bid farewell to Australia and say hello to the rest of the world.
Central Coast artist MICK HART (pictured) is returning to Newcastle for two shows before he jets off to Europe in October.
It will be Hart's sixth trip to Europe in three years and this time he looks set on sticking around a little longer.
'I'm going to be relocating there and setting up somewhere in France,' Hart said.
Hart will travel solo and perform throughout Europe and the UK before heading over to the US early in the new year.
In the US, Hart will perform in New York and Los Angeles where he will meet with a number of high-profile managers.
He looks set to sign a management deal with DAVE LAURIE, who famously looked after the late JEFF BUCKLEY. While overseas, Hart hopes to release some of his earlier work and begin recording his next album. His overseas adventure will force Hart to miss the NEWCASTLE MUSIC AWARDS in November, in which he has been nominated in the Blues and Roots category.
'It's awesome, I was very honoured to be put in,' he said.
Hart will perform his final shows in Newcastle at the SALAR COUCH CAFE tonight and the NORTHERN STAR HOTEL on Friday night.
