THEY say the good comes with the bad and that was certainly the case for upcoming musician ANTHONY SNAPE. Snape's musical career began in 1997 when he was picked to join a five-piece pop group named FOREVER. Although the band failed to make a name for itself, Snape's career took a lucky turn when he was given the opportunity to record his first song DO YOU REMEMBER at SONY STUDIOS in Sydney.

The track was picked up by SBS Television and has regularly featured on the station, allowing Snape to introduce his music to the rest of the country.

Snape went on to record his debut EP and was soon performing alongside some of Australia's biggest names including RICK PRICE, JOHN WILLIAMSON, JAMES MORRISON and MARINA PRIOR. Snape delivers a unique blend of acoustic pop, tempered with a commercial feel and plenty of melody.

He has been performing on the live scene for the past three years, working as a soloist, in an acoustic trio and a band.

More recently, Snape was picked to perform on the upcoming CLUB ACOUSTICA: THE BASEMENT SHOWCASES VOLUME 2 album.

Snape is performing around the Hunter, appearing at HOTEL CBD on October 24, THE KENT on October 25 and CESSNOCK EX-SERVICES CLUB on October 26.
