NOVOCASTRIAN fans were known to be among the biggest in the world of The Hard Ons during their hey day.
Although the legendary Punchbowl punks still perform occasionally, the boys have also been devoting time to other musical ventures.
One venture is Nunchukka Superfly, another punk trio featuring two members of The Hard Ons.
Fresh from a tour of Europe with The Hard Ons, Peter Black and Ray Ahn will hit the road again to promote Nunchukka Superfly's new album There Are No Accidents...just F$#@wits. In the true style of The Hard Ons, Black described the album as having 'all the good things out there mixed with a punk rock blend'.
Nunchukka Superfly released its album late last month and plan to return to Europe later in the year after wrapping up a run of dates in NSW.
The tour will continue to June and see them stop over at the Cambridge Hotel in The Lab on Friday night.
The band will be supported by hard edged local band Schlauncher. Entry to The Lab is $3.
