ALTHOUGH most would rather deny it, we have all found ourselves singing along to the Sound of Music at some point.
Now you can sing along to your heart's content in front of a room full of people without the embarrassment.
The famed Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music is coming to Civic Theatre Newcastle next week and the worldwide phenomenon is sure to be a big crowd pleaser.
The event features a screening of the Sound of Music where fans can sing along to songs like My Favourite Things. Since 1999, the concept has been a sell-out hit all across the UK and America and Australians are also quickly catching on.
For those who don't know all of the words, they can sing along to the subtitled lyrics.
The host for the evening will lead the audience through a vocal warm up and judge the costume competition.
Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music will be held at Civic Theatre Newcastle on March 23 at 2pm and 7pm.
