Mickyfin Hot 12 Months On

THIS month, local four-piece Mickyfin will celebrate their 12 month union by performing at The Beaches Hotel on Friday night.

The melodic young group has already established itself as one of the most popular and promising bands on Newcastle's music scene.

Made up of Andrew Rostas, Josh Bowyer, Adam Duggan and Alan Hofman, the band has already had an incredible year.

In the past 12 months, the band has written plenty of original material that fuses together elements of classical, jazz and rock.

Last year the band recorded two of its tracks with producer Mark Tinson and they hope to release an EP in the near future.

Another feather in their cap came when they supported Alex Lloyd during his show at Newcastle University to a near sell-out crowd.
