IF you're into hard trance music then you won't want to miss one of the genre's leading DJs when he performs in Newcastle this weekend.
Sydney dance specialist DJ Yoshi will play an energetic set of hard house and hard trance at the Mercury Hotel on Saturday night.
Yoshi has worthily earned his crown as Australia's King of Trance since he first came on the scene seven years ago.
As well as performing throughout Australia at events such as God's Kitchen, Sounds On Sunday and Happy Valley, Yoshi has spread his wings world-wide and honed his skills in the UK.
Performing throughout Europe, Yoshi played to packed crowds in areas such as Hamburg and London.
Yoshi hopes to return to the UK later this year to tour again.
Success also continues for Yoshi at home after he released his Downunderground album Yoshi 014 last December.
The double album of hard trance and hard house was the eighth best seller on the HMV compilations chart.
Yoshi's fresh sounds can be heard in the Mercury's Heat Discotheque and entry to the show is $10 or free before midnight.
