FORMER Wickety Wak comedian Greg Doolan will appear in a solo show at Belmont 16ft Sailing Club on February 16.

The popular comedian has been entertaining Australian audiences for 25 years and remains one of the country's most popular performers.

While not tickling the funny bone of audiences, Doolan is also a celebrated vocalist and can deliver uncanny impersonations of many major celebrities.

Whether it be Pavarotti or Bob Dylan, Doolan can perfect the sound of many artists down to a tee.

As the leader and writer for Wickety Waks, Doolan has been awarded for his talents on many occasions.

He has won five Mo' Awards with Wickety Waks and was named Best Variety Entertainer at the 2001 Mo' Awards.

Last year he was also awarded the Queensland Club Awards for Versatile Variety Performer, Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

Doolan will perform at the club from 8.30pm with stunning vocalist Donna Campbell. Tickets are available from the club for $12.50.
